Terms & Conditions
Caddie & Co. curates premium golf travel and provides fully priced itineraries for your review before you make a commitment. We coordinate with suppliers, most of whom temporarily hold pricing and availability, while you confirm plans with your group. However, some key bookings, like golf courses or boutique hotels, may be at risk if there is a meaningful delay. Prices, especially for accommodations, can also rise due to demand. Our proposals reflect current availability and are not guaranteed until a timely commitment is made with deposits paid.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Caddie & Co. We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Eligibility
Traveller’s must be 18 years or older to book a Caddie & Co. trip. Clients under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and may be subject to additional restrictions depending on the experience or destination.
Trip Planning Fee
A non-refundable Trip Planning Fee is required to begin work on your custom itinerary. This covers the time and expertise of our team to design an exceptional experience. Should you choose not to move forward with the trip, the itinerary we create remains yours to use.
Payment Schedule
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
Full balance is due 95 days prior to departure.
Bookings made within 95 days of departure require full payment at time of booking.
Some trips may have unique terms, which will be outlined in your Statement of Account.
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to Caddie & Co. Charges for cancellation are as follows:
Deposit + Insurance Premium (if applicable): non-refundable
First Instalment date + 1 day: 50% of tour price non-refundable
Second Instalment date + 1 day: 100% of total tour price non-refundable
Certain supplier and hotel fees may be non-refundable.
Force Majeure
Caddie & Co. reserves the right to cancel any trip due to force majeure (including pandemics, weather events, political unrest, or other causes beyond our control). We will make every effort to recover non-refundable costs on your behalf, but cannot guarantee full reimbursement.
Health & Fitness Requirements
Travellers are expected to be in good health and capable of light physical activity (including walking up to 6 km per day, where applicable). It is your responsibility to disclose any health or mobility issues prior to booking. Caddie & Co. reserves the right to decline or withdraw any participant whose condition may affect the enjoyment or safety of the group.
Travel Documents / Electronic Travel Authorizations
It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure they hold, valid travel documents, including passports, visas, proof of insurance, and vaccination certificates, as required. Caddie & Co. is not responsible for costs incurred due to improper documentation or denied entry.
Insurance
Trip Cancellation/Interruption insurance is strongly recommended. If you choose not to purchase insurance, you accept full responsibility for
any costs related to cancellation, delays, or medical care.
Responsibility & Liability
Caddie & Co. acts solely as an agent for services provided by third parties, including hotels, airlines, and local guides. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by these providers or by circumstances beyond our control. Travellers agree to release and indemnify Caddie & Co. from any and all claims.
Changes to Itinerary
We reserve the right to make changes to itineraries for operational, safety, or other necessary reasons. Any additional costs incurred due to itinerary changes will be the responsibility of the traveler.
Dietary Requirements & Accommodation Requests
Allergies and dietary restrictions must be communicated at the time of booking. While we do our best to accommodate, we cannot guarantee specific requests. Hotel rooms are assigned as “best in class,” but specific views or room amenities cannot be guaranteed.
Currency Changes
The price for your trip as a courtesy to you is priced in US dollars whereas in many cases, trip costs are in another currency such as in Euros or Pounds. Tour operators such as Caddie & Co. are not in the business of taking the risk on currencies, largely because of the thin margins we operate on but more fundamentally, you would be taking this risk if you were undertaking the challenges of booking the trip yourself. Consequently, Caddie & Co. will advise you upfront of the mid-market exchange rate used to determine the price of your trip. If at the time of each installment payment made there is a change in the rate, whether positive or negative, your payment will be adjusted to reflect the change.
